Breaker1 for Chrome

Highlight any email or name on the web, right-click, and instantly see mutual free times.

Works in Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, and any Chromium browser.

Install in 4 steps

Unzip the downloaded file.
Open chrome://extensions in your browser.
Toggle Developer mode in the top-right.
Click Load unpacked and choose the unzipped folder.

Sign in

Once installed, click the Breaker1 extension icon and choose Sign in. The connection page will open and link your account automatically. If your browser blocks that handoff, use the manual ID field on the connection page.

Privacy: what the extension scans

Right-click "Find times with…"

Only the text you highlight (a name or email) is read — never the page itself, its URL, or your browsing history.
That text is sent to Breaker1 to check whether the person has an account with a connected calendar, then to compute mutual free times.
No AI is involved in this flow.

Gmail auto-detect (optional, off by default)

Runs only on mail.google.com, and only for the thread you have open — never your whole inbox, unopened mail, or attachments.
The open thread's visible text is matched against scheduling keywords locally in your browser. No keyword match means nothing leaves your browser.
On a match, a snippet of that thread (capped at 2,000 characters) plus the email addresses on the thread is sent to Breaker1 and forwarded to our AI provider (Google Gemini via Lovable AI Gateway) to classify scheduling intent and extract participants and proposed times.
Snippets are not stored and are never used to train AI models. The extension cannot send email on your behalf.
You must tick an explicit consent box in the extension's options page before auto-detect can be enabled, and you can withdraw it at any time to stop all scanning.
